16 Days Against Gender Based Violence Campaign

The 16 Days Against Gender Based Violence campaign is held each year beginning of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (25th November) and ending on International Human Rights Day (10th December). The 16 Day campaign reinforces the fact that violence against women is a human rights violation. The 2019 theme is Ending Gender-based Violence in the Workplace. Violence and harassment in the world of work is a global phenomenon that disproportionately impacts women, preventing them from fully realizing their human rights.
Human trafficking is one of the greatest examples of violence against women and girls. ACRATH has prepared a number of resources to assist your participation in the 16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence campaign. Click here for more information.
