‘A Matter of Taste’ examines how three different supply chain actors within the chocolate industry – certification bodies, chocolate manufacturers and cocoa production companies – are attempting to address the issue of child labour, worst forms of child labour and human trafficking on cocoa farms in Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana. It explores what each is doing in terms of

1) traceability, transparency and accountability,
2) child labour monitoring and remediation,
3) community investment,
4) community participation,
5) access to education,
6) women’s empowerment and
7) ensuring farmers make a living income.
