The ACRATH President, Clare Condon sgs, chaired the ACRATH Annual General Meeting 2025 on Thursday 20 March. The ACRATH Annual Report which was presented to the Members provides a wonderful insight into the work of ACRATH during 2024.

Clare expressed her gratitude to all the Members and employees for their on-going commitment to ACRATH and, for their many diverse ways to fulfill this mission to eliminate human trafficking and the harm it causes, bringing life and hope to our world.

ACRATH’s work within the Talitha Kum Oceania Region, led by Annette Arnold rsj, was noted as being an important aspect of maintaining our active connection internationally.

At the AGM, Shane Wood cfc resigned as the Treasurer after competently filling this role since the 2012 AGM. Clare thanked Shane for his commitment, generosity and professionalism over these years. Michael Mooney was elected as the Treasurer.

The AGM included the election of Members to the National Committee who now are: Clare Condon sgs (President), Carmel Heagerty rsm (Secretary), Michael Mooney (Treasurer), Annette Arnold rsj, Julia Trimboli and Meredith Evans rsm. At the April National Committee meeting Shane will be appointed as a committee member. ACRATH’s motto is taken from John’s Gospel and Clare expressed sincere gratitude to everyone involved in ACRATH’s mission as we respond so, that all may have life and have it to the full.
