Action for the New Year
As we begin a New Year many people make New Year’s Resolutions. Maybe for 2020 your resolution could be to help organisations like ACRATH fighting against slavery and human trafficking.
How can you help?
- Perhaps you could take time to prepare to mark St Josephine Bakhita’s Day on 8 February. St Josephine Bakhita is the patron saint of all people trafficked into slavery. For more information about St Josephine Bakhita click here.
- The ACRATH calendar raises awareness about human trafficking. In addition a percentage of the profits from the sale of the calendar is given to a ministry directly involved in anti-trafficking work in South-East Asia. It is not too late to order a calendar. Click here for the order form.
- ACRATH relies on the generosity of donors to carry out its work. Donations of $2 or more are tax deductible. Information on how to donate can be found here.
Lets make 2020 a year marked by progress towards ending human trafficking and slavery.
