Are your Easter eggs slavery-free? Before purchasing your Easter eggs this year reflect on the words of Pope Francis:

“It is not possible to remain indifferent before the knowledge that
human beings are bought and sold like goods!”

Many children in West Africa are enslaved to pick cocoa beans, a key ingredient of chocolate. Follow the example of the students at St Thomas More’s Primary School in Canberra and share the message that we need to purchase slavery free chocolate not only at Easter but all year round.
