Australia Joins Global Initiative

On 30th July, UN World Day Against Trafficking in Person, Australia’s Foreign Minister, Senator the Hon Marise Payne, announced that Australia was joining the United Nations’ Blue Heart Campaign.  ThBlue Heart Campaign is a global awareness-raising initiative to fight human trafficking and its impact on society. In her media release Senator Payne commented, “Joining the United Nations’ Blue Heart Campaign underlines Australia’s commitment to efforts to eradicate human trafficking and modern slavery, as enshrined in the Sustainable Development Goals.” Access Senator Payne’s media release here.
