Australian Anti-Slavery Commissioner
On 13th March 2025 ACRATH staff and members had the opportunity to meet with the newly appointed Australian Anti-Slavery Commissioner, Mr Chris Evans, who began his five-year term in December 2024.
They discussed the various projects ACRATH is undertaking to eliminate human trafficking and modern slavery. ACRATH feels appreciated for its contributions in this crucial area.
Carmel Shaw, ACRATH Community Development Coordinator, expressed optimism for , emphasizing that victims/survivors will remain at the heart of all their efforts.
