International Women’s Day, 8th March, is a day to to celebrate the achievements of women and to raise awareness about women’s equality. The day is also a call to action. In 2022 we are called to #BreaktheBias and create a world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination, a world where workplaces are free of gender bias. Together we can forge a world were difference is valued and celebrated.

Gender bias is dis-empowering leaving women unable to realise their full potential. They may become vulnerable to being exploited, coerced into servitude, treated as slaves or deceived into believing they can have a better life elsewhere and so become a victim of human trafficking.
