2018 Team ACRATH

ACRATH’s week of advocacy in the Australian Parliament in 2018 saw a team of 14 ACRATH members and colleagues in Canberra
to advocate for improved approaches to combatting human trafficking and protecting victims of human trafficking and slavery-like practices, and forced marriage. Several weeks of preparation at ACRATH’s office preceded the team’s arrival in Canberra for an afternoon of orientation, preparation and training. A full schedule in the following days saw us meet for focused conversation and advocacy with Members of Parliament and government officers.
