World Day of Prayer Against Human Trafficking

Communities throughout the world are preparing to celebrate the World Day of Prayer Against Human Trafficking which is held each year on 8th February, the feastday of St Josephine Bakhita.

If you live in Sydney or Melbourne you might like to attend a Mass to celebrate and reflect on the issue of Human Trafficking. Details are as follows:

Melbourne – 7.30pm Mass at St Patrick’s Cathedral
Sydney – 5.30pm Mass at St Mary’s Cathedral

As we celebrate this day let us reflect on the role we can play to bring about an end to human trafficking and slavery in our time. Resources can be found here.
