Celebrating the World Day of Prayer, Reflection and Action

A number of events and publications have highlighted the first World day of prayer, reflection and action against human trafficking held on Sunday 8th February, the feast of St Josephine Bakhita.
Activities included publications in diocesan and parish bulletins, prayers of the faithful at parish masses, talks given by ACRATH members and postings on websites and social media pages.
As we move on from this day let us not forget the many women, men and children who are exploited and enslaved in our world. Let us be be a strong voice advocating for their freedom and human rights. Read more…
