Forced Child Labour in India

Children in India are being forced to work long hours in dark, cramped conditions hand stitching sports balls.  The children are employed unofficially by subcontractors.Two Australian companies, Sherrin and Canterbury, have operations in India.  Both companies have expressed their horror at this practice and have promised to investigate.
