Ethical Fashion Products Soon to Be in Australian Stores

The Australian Newspaper recently reported that Cotton On has been working towards selling ethical fashion products in Australian stores by sourcing cotton from farmers in Kenya. Working in partnership with Business for Development (BFD), the hope is to develop sustainable sources of cotton. Tim Diamond, the general manager of Cotton On’s not-for-profit arm, the ­Cotton On Foundation, told a recent business forum, “We are now seeing some ­incredible results. The Kenyan cotton farmers have now doubled their income which is amazing and it is filling us with hope and opportunity for something that we never really thought about until it was brought to us.” Read more…
