Forced Labour in Uzbekistan Cotton Fields
It is disturbing to learn that during the 2014 cotton harvest in Uzbekistan there was an increase in the number of adults and children who lost their lives or experienced serious injury. Injuries and deaths occurred as a result of accidents relating to transportation of cotton, living conditions and lack of safety, compromised health conditions, and suicide.
