Calling on Community Radio Stations

Human trafficking, slavery and labour exploitation happens all over Australia, in our local communities.  The RAP is a project working to build awareness and provide information about human trafficking, via community service announcements (CSAs) on radio.

Through the RAP project ACRATH aims to reach into local communities, particularly Cultural and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities, some of whose members are most at risk of exploitation.  With the help of Anti-Slavery Australia (www.antislavery.org.au) we have produced CSAs ready for broadcast in the following languages;

  • Thai
  • Mandarin
  • Vietnamese
  • English
  • Malay Bahasa/Indonesian
  • Maltese
