People are becoming more and more aware of the exploitation that is taking place in the garment industry. The April 2013 collapse of the Rana Plaza garment factory in Bangladesh, killing at least 1,132 people and injuring more than 2,500 – April 2013 shocked the world and highlighted the poor working conditions and exploitation of garment workers. But did you know that young aspiring models are also being targeted by fake scouts who are luring them into a life of exploitation and abuse.
