Journeying to End Human Trafficking
“Journeying Together to End Human Trafficking: Compassion in Action for Transformation” is the theme of the Talitha Kum second General Assembly being held in Rome 18-24 May. More than 200 delegates from Talitha Kum networks are taking part in this event.
The assembly is an opportunity to dialogue, listen, discern and share how we can continue our efforts, strategically address trafficking and respond to Pope Francis’ call “not to stand still, to mobilize all our resources in the fight against trafficking and in restoring full dignity to those who have been trafficked.”
The second General Assembly is also be an opportunity to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Talitha Kum. Assembly events can be viewed here.
On Day 2 of the Assembly ACRATH Member Marguerite shared the stage elaborating on the vital work of ACRATH’s Companionship Program which supports our mission to eliminate human trafficking and the harm it causes.
