ACRATH News Feb 2021

In the first issue of ACRATH News for 2021 ACRATH’s President and National Executive Officer, Sr Louise Cleary csb and Christine Carolan, invite us to reflect on where we can make a change in our lives that will impact others.

“We encourage schools to make their staffrooms slavery-free and can support them in this work. We ask consumers to buy only slavery-free chocolate, particularly in the lead up to Easter and we ask people to consider buying Fairtrade clothing.”

ACRATH News gives you information on how you can join the Global Online Prayer Marathon to mark the World Day of Prayer, Reflection and Action Against Human Trafficking on the feast of St Josephine Bakhita, 8th February. You are also invited to take part in Be Slavery Free campaign asking the Australian Government  raise concerns about the Taiwan Fishing industry with the Taiwanese Government.
