Modern Slavery Free Campaign

Join with ACRATH and our Uniting Church partners in a postcard campaign calling on the Australian Government to implement the recommendations of Prof Allan Fel’s Migrant Workers’ Taskforce.  Late in 2018, the government agreed in principle to the recommendations outlined in the Migrant Workers’ Taskforce Report.  The postcard addressed to the Attorney General, Christian Porter, calls for the Government to introduce a national labour hire registration scheme, which would assist with the protection of Seasonal Worker’s rights and ethical treatment while employed on this Government funded initiative.
