Students Donate Their Time to Promote Freedom
Music for Freedom, held in Strathfield on 14th May, was opened by Jodi McKay MP, the member for Strathfield, and compared by John Cleary from ABC Radio. The event was held to raise awareness about the existence of human trafficking and slavery in our world and to raise funds to support the work of ACRATH.
The audience was treated to an evening of musical variety and talent. Items included a jazz band, a chamber ensemble, vocal performances, a string ensemble and a saxophone quartet.
Performers came from Kincoppal-Rose Bay, Loretta Kirribilli, Marist Sisters College Woolwich, Our Lady of Mercy College Parramatta, Santa Sabina College Strathfield, St Scholastica’s College Glebe and Waverley College. Thank you to all who supported this event.
