NO to Exploitation, YES to Dignity

2016 ACRATH National Conference

ACRATH members from around Australia gathered in Sydney 16-18 February for the ACRATH National Conference. The theme of the conference was NO to Exploitation, YES to DignitySr Anne Tormey rsm, President of ACRATH, opened the conference with a reflection on the Year of Mercy and the presentation of her annual report. Understanding and harnessing the supply chain from an advocacy point of view was the topic addresses by keynote speaker Brynn O’Brien. The conference was also an opportunity for ACRATH members to be informed about domestic and global issues with regard to human trafficking and slavery and to discuss how they might respond.
