OBE for CEO of STOP THE TRAFFIK

ACRATH congratulates Ruth Dearnley, CEO of STOP THE TRAFFIK, who has been awarded an OBE (An Officer of the Order of the British Empire)  in the Queen’s New Year’s 2014 Honours list for services in “Awareness and Prevention of Human Trafficking.”

Steve Chalke, UN.GIFT Special Advisor on Community Action Against Human Trafficking and Founder of STOP THE TRAFFIK says, “In the history of STOP THE TRAFFIK no one has shown more grit, tenacity and graft in raising awareness of this growing global crime and flying the flag to bring communities, government and society together to prevent it.  We’re all incredibly proud of what Ruth and the team have been able to achieve so far and congratulate her on this well-deserved honour.
