On the Road to End Slavery

Run Melbourne 2025 (1020 x 600 px)

Join us on Sunday, 13 July 2025, for Run Melbourne and help us support our mission to eliminate human trafficking and modern slavery.

Why Run? It’s estimated that 41,000 people in Australia and 50 million worldwide are trapped in modern slavery *. Behind each statistic is a person at the heart of ACRATH’s (Australian Catholic Religious Against Trafficking in Humans) work. With your support, we advocate, educate, and walk alongside victim/survivors.

In 2024, Run Melbourne brought together an inspiring mix of teams and individuals running under the ACRATH banner, from schools such as Padua College Mornington, Sacred Heart Girls’ College Oakleigh and Thornbury High to fundraising champions like Father Andrew Jekot from St Mary of the Cross in Mordialloc and Aspendale, and teams from Allens law firm. Together, our community raised over $15,000 to support ACRATH’s programs!

As project manager, Erin reflected,

“Personal bests were achieved, and many runners were just happy to cross the finishing line. The energy and passion were infectious!”
