Senate Reports on Modern Slavery Bill Inquiry

Over recent weeks the Senate Constitutional and Legal Affairs Committee has conducted an inquiry regarding the Modern Slavery Bill that was introduced into the Australian Parliament in June 2018. The report of this inquiry has now been released. It contains six recommendations. ACRATH is delighted to see the report recommends that an independent statutory officer be appointed to support the operation of the Modern Slavery Act. Download a copy of the report here.
