A recent article written by Elizabeth Butler-Sloss  in the UK newspaper Guardian reflects on the fact that due to the relentless efforts of William Wilberforce slavery was abolished in the UK in 1807.  It goes on to describe the new form of slavery in our time – human trafficking.
