Stop Trafficking!
The May 2021 issue of Stop Trafficking! highlights the findings of the Global Report on Trafficking in Persons released in February 2021. This is the fifth global report on trafficking in persons issued by the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime (UNODC). the research period for the document concluded in 2018 so it does not contain any information regarding the impact of the Coronavirus global pandemic. However, UNODC notes that the economic fallout from Covid-19 has left many more people vulnerable to being trafficked. Articles in this issue of Stop Trafficking include:
