Minister Announces Review of  Student Visas

In a media release dated 14 October 2011 the Hon Chris Bowen MP, Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, announced a targeted analysis of Australia’s student visa program following allegations of links to the sex industry.  Mr Bowen said the risk and integrity analysis would investigate what links, if any, exist with the sex industry and the use of student visas.
