Taxis Against Trafficking
UK & European Anti-Slavery Day
Taxi drivers are the eyes and ears of a community; they drive our streets every day, chatting to different passengers. They see stuff and they could tell if something wasn’t right. A number of stories have recently hit the news where taxis have been used to move victims of trafficking. Taxi drivers need to know how to spot a victim of trafficked and what action to take if they do.
For Anti-Slavery day on 18th day of October join in our global day of action to give your taxi drivers a tea break and inspire them to help prevent human trafficking. We’ve created resources so you can raise awareness about trafficking with your taxi drivers and make it harder for traffickers to operate where you live.
