Forced Marriage in Australia and New Zealand

The Australian Institute of Criminology has released a research paper entitled When saying no is not an option: Forced marriage in Australia and New Zealand.  In  a media statement releasing the report the Assistant Minister for Home Affairs, Alex Hawke MP, said “This report is the first of its kind and explores the perceptions and realities around forced marriage in Australia and New Zealand, contributing to a body of research that will be used to shape future policy in this area.”
